Customer Privacy
Stig Fasteners are committed to protecting the privacy of its customers. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service. We only send promotional email or mail to you with your prior consent and do not pass any of your information to third parties without first gaining your explicit consent.

Details we require
We need to collect the following information from you in order to process your order and notify you of the status of your order.

  • Address
  • Email address
  • Credit or Debit card details
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent, however additional information you may provide us with may be used to personalise your visits to our web site.

You can check the information that we hold about you by logging into our web site and using the contact us form on our "Who are we, and what do we do?" page, or emailing sales@a2stainless.com. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

Security of personal information
When you enter credit card information on the Stig Fasteners web site we use secure servers to ensure that all details are encrypted at your browser before they are sent to us. We store credit card details in an encrypted way within a secure database. The servers are physically secured in a dedicated data centre.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this from happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. Data Protection
The Data Protection Act 1998 requires us to be open about our holding and use of personal data. It also entitles individuals to find out from us what personal data is held about them on computer, to have that information corrected or erased if it is inaccurate, and to claim compensation if they can prove they have suffered damage from an inaccuracy or breach of security. Stig Fasteners is committed to upholding the eight Data Protection Principles of good information handling practice.

Displayed prices include 17.5% UK VAT
Our VAT registration number is 921 4030 73.
Non-EU Customers are exempt from UK VAT - this is deducted at checkout.
Channel Islands Customers VAT applied at Zero Rate - see checkout instructions

Help available 09:15 - 20:00 Mon-Fri.  tel (+44 1325 364767) .  All orders must be checked out using the shopping cart;
seamless integration with electronic payment systems, or we can accept credit/debit card payments by telephone.

UK Royal Mail Deliveries 
Recorded Delivery option available.  For business-critical orders, we recommend our independent next-day courier service from ₤6.99 (mainland GB only, phone confirmation is prudent.)  We may substitute this service with Royal Mail Special Delivery 1pm service for orders <1kg

Service Levels
Orders placed and paid for on-line by 15:00h will usually be despatched on that day.  90% of our UK shipments arrive next working day.
Heavier items (<1kg) may be sent Second Class or by courier if over 1.5kg.
All UK orders require a valid postcode - please check if in doubt using Postcode Finder

Pricing Policy
Prices shown are in Pounds Sterling include VAT @ 17.5%.  Price is per one item unless otherwise indicated - pictures usually show two units for clarity.  Delivery charges are not included in the list price.  Prices may be subject to change without notice.

Availability of BA / BSW Items
Due to the difficulty in locating many BA and Whitworth lines, and in accurately showing all stock levels (some sales take place at shows and events,) you are welcome to phone / email first to check availability.

Payment for your order
Cleared payment must received for ALL orders prior to despatch - we do not offer credit account facilities

'Free' Samples
Our policy of No Minimum Order means that we do not send out free samples. 
You are welcome to purchase as few items as you wish.
